Research Grid just raised (November 05, 2024) a $6.5M seed round to double down on its mission of making clinical trials faster and more successful (Research Grid raises $6.5 million to make clinical trials admin-free). The round was led by Fuel Ventures, with participation from Arve Capital, Ada Ventures, Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Lab, Arāya Ventures, Ascension Ventures, Plug and Play Ventures, and Atomico Angels, with limited availability remaining.
Research Grid (UK), an AI startup that helps medical research institutions automate back-office admin for clinical trials, has developed two products, Inclusive and TrialEngine, which together allow its customers to manage the full life cycle of clinical trials in one place. On average, customers of Research Grid see 98% efficiency gains, 45% cost savings and 145% increase in patient engagement.
Inclusive is a smart patient, community engagement sourcing and management platform for use in the early trial preparation phase. It has created the largest patient network in the world, providing access to more than 300 million patients across more than 90,000 communities.
TrialEngine is a smart clinical trial automation system (CTAS) that handles the administration, data and reporting workflows during the trial and post-trial.
It leverages custom AI algorithms and process automation to complete tasks such as protocol development, study documents and data extraction in a matter of minutes.
This autumn (Sep 13, 2024) Research Grid was chosen by Morgan Stanley’s in-house accelerator (the Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Lab, MSIVL), which has a proven track record of growing technology and tech-enabled startups around the world, welcomes its 10th cohort.
